Located in Yuseong-Gu not far away from the World Cup Stadium, Cinewe Cinema is located on the northeastern edge of the city. With a seating capacity of 993, the cinema is located in a newer residential area and is surrounded by some interesting places to eat.
MCV Academy, 50 meters from Daejeon Railway Station, is the biggest of all the multiplexes in Daejeon. The Muliplex has a sitting capacity of one thousand two hundred and thirty five screens. Part of the Cinus Cinema chain, Rodeo World, is on the fifth floor of the Rodeo Town Department Store Building which is located 200 meters from Daejeon Railway Station.
The Daejeon Art Cinema is located close to Daejeon Station in Mannyeon-Dong between a jewlery shop and the Daehoon Book Center on the 2th floor [while its easy to miss, it is there. Look for the movies posters in a display case at street level]. In addition to showing a range of independent and less mainstream Korean and international films, it has a cafe and a gallery in which patrons can wile away the time while waitinf for the film to start.
